Carol Berg's 'Breath and Bone'

The mass market paperback version of Carol Berg's BREATH AND BONE was released January 6, 2009 by New American Library/Roc Books. Kirkus gave BREATH AND BONE a starred review, calling it "Absolutely superior."

Carol Berg has sold Russian rights to her novel THE SOUL WEAVER to Eksmo.

In November BU member K.T. Holt started a monthly Science Fiction and Fantasy magazine called Crossed Genres, about genre-blending, and is currently accepting submissions for the Science Fiction/Fantasy and CRIME issue...

Karen A. Romanko at Strange Horizons

Catherine Lundoff is a Lambda Award Nominee

Haunted Hearths and Sapphic Shades: Lesbian Ghost Stories (Lethe Press, 2008 - Catherine Lundoff, ed.) is a 2008 Lambda Literary Award nominee for LGBT Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror! The stories are written by mostly female authors and all feature female protagonists.

In addition, 2 stories from the book are nominated for the Sir Julius Vogel Award, given for sf/f/h by New Zealand residents.
