Dark Lady's Chosen Sneak Peek June 21 |
Fantasy Author Gail Z. Martin previews the newest book in The Chronicles of the Necromancer adventure series with a round-the-world online event hosted on sites in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Bulgaria, Canada, and Switzerland beginning June 21 at http://www.chroniclesofthenecromancer.com/DarkLadysChosen.html . Dark Lady's Chosen, Book Four in the Chronicles of the Necromancer, will be released by Solaris Books in late December of 2009. Martin is offering fans an early preview with excerpts, interviews, web audio and video, a special Ghost in the Machine podcast and giveaways. There's also big news about the cover of the new book and at least one major surprise announcement. In addition to Martin's www.ChroniclesOfTheNecromancer web site, partner sites for the promotion include SolarisBooks.com (UK), Bookloons.com (Canada), SciFiChick.com, FantasyBookCritic.Blogspot.com (Canada), and SFSignal.com (US), Phantastich (Germany), Starliter (Bulgaria), Temple Library Reviews (Bulgaria), Epheros, Dribble of Ink (UK) and Letters From Lausanne (Switzerland) are hosting copy. Different sites have different giveaways and downloads beginning on or close to June 21. On June 19, Martin will Twitter the first chapter from Dark Lady's Chosen at Twitter.com/GailZMartin

In Dark Lady's Chosen, Jonmarc Vahanian battles a vayash moru uprising that threatens to topple the balance of power between mortals and the undead. Martris Drayke, Margolan's Summoner-king, must find a way to win the siege of Lochlanimar and crush the traitors who threaten his crown. But the price to save his kingdom may be the lives of those he loves most-and his soul. |
