News from around the

P.L. Blair's series, Portals, receives favorable reviews.

P.L. Blair has a fantasy series, "Portals," which currently consists of three books: "Shadow Path," "Stormcaller" and "Deathtalker." Book Four, "Sister Hoods," is in the works. All are published by Studio See Publishing LLC, headquartered in Sheridan, Wyo.

Her books have received favorable reviews from Armchair Interviews and Front Street Reviews.

Reviewer Tom Morton (Front Street Reviews) says: "The books are a refreshing change from the norm where fantasy is concerned. This cross-genre series blends the ages-old detective novel with a unique twist on a fantasy world co-existing and interacting with the modern day world we all know and love."

A note from P.L.:
I am dividing my time between Sheridan, Wyo., and Rockport, Texas, and have spent the spring and summer doing book signings. Because my publisher does not yet have a distributor, my books have limited placement, but they can be ordered online at www.studiosee.com and are available at book stores in Sheridan, at Hastings Books stores in Billings, Mont., and Victoria, Texas, and in stores in Rockport, Portland and Calallen, Texas.
